I have photographed some very memorable weddings, but this one in particular was very unique from the couple’s story of how they met to the backdrop for their wedding day. I had the opportunity to do the couple’s engagement shots at the groom’s family farm, which has been in his family for generations and again used this for some wedding shots. On their wedding day the groom and his brother got ready at their family’s property and carrying on with the tradition rode on the family tractor to the ceremony location. The setting of their wedding took place on a chilly December Saturday, but the warmth and love of the couple could be felt by all who attended their wedding. The couple braved the chilly temperatures for some outdoor candid photos that the two of them will be able to cherish for years to come. The Christmas spirit was in the air everywhere you looked from the ceremony to the reception decor, to the neatly wrapped gifts that served as favors for each of their guests, and who could forget the bride’s ruby red heels that complimented her wedding theme and attire. Thanks Jessica and Kristian for giving me the opportunity to photograph your wedding and I hope you enjoyed your first Christmas as husband and wife. Cheers to a happy 2014!
