As a photographer, I have the privilege of capturing some of the most special moments in people’s lives. And when I was asked to photograph the wedding of Bridget and Derek at the Inn at Leola, I knew it was going to be a day to remember.
The Inn at Leola is a beautiful wedding venue nestled in the heart of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. It’s the perfect size for a small, intimate wedding, and on the day of Bridget and Derek’s nuptials, all the right family and friends were able to attend.
Despite the cold weather and snow on the ground, the love between Bridget and Derek was palpable. As they exchanged vows in the warm and cozy indoor ceremony, it was clear that nothing was going to stop them from having the most amazing day.
As the newlyweds celebrated with their loved ones, I had the opportunity to capture all the special moments of the day. From the joy on Bridget and Derek’s faces as they exchanged rings, to the laughter and tears of their family and friends, I was able to freeze these memories in time.
But my favorite part of the day was when Bridget and Derek had their first dance as husband and wife. The way they looked at each other, the way they held each other close, it was clear that their love was stronger than ever. I was honored to be able to capture this beautiful moment for them.
Overall, it was an unforgettable day for Bridget and Derek, and I was so grateful to be a part of it. As I look back on the photos from their wedding, I can’t help but smile at the joy and love that radiated from every moment. It was a true honor to be the one to photograph such a special day for such an amazing couple.
Bobbi and Ben’s wedding at Two Harts Barn, located in Spring Grove Pa, was a beautiful and joyous occasion, despite a little rain. The couple’s love for each other shone bright, and their family and friends joined in the celebration, dancing the night away. The rustic charm of the farm venue provided the perfect backdrop for the celebration.
As the photographer, I was fortunate enough to capture the magic of the day through my lens. Despite the rain, I was able to capture some stunning photographs that truly capture the love and happiness of the newlyweds. The rain even added a unique and romantic touch to the photographs.
Overall, it was an honor to photograph Bobbi and Ben’s special day and I am proud to have been a part of their beautiful wedding. Congratulations to the happy couple!
The hidden gem: Moonstone Manor Wedding Venue
There is nothing quite like Lancaster County in July. Moon Stone Manor is already one of my favorite places on in the area to shoot weddings. The beautiful creek that runs thru the property, the large open air tent, gorgeous gardens, and a huge historical mansion that’s perfect for the brides to get ready. You could tell instantly why it was so it was an easy decision for Stephanie and Nate to have their wedding here, and seriously, what better time than July to celebrate the love of your life? Right off the bat, I knew that Stephanie and I were going to get along great. She was so laid back and just warm and you could tell that her family meant everything to her. Adding Nate to her family meant even more. Her first look with her dad was so so sweet. You could tell how proud her dad was the whole day. So much thought went into how the guest would experience her day from every little detail. The weather was absolutely stunning…. A perfect day. Thank you, Stephanie and Nate, for sharing your day with me. Your smiles and happiness are infectious and you are beautiful inside and out. I wish you well on this crazy adventure we call marriage.
Cam and I have been friends for many years. This is why I was honored not only to be a guest at the wedding of Betsy and Cameron, but also to photograph and memorialize their unforgettable day. With its gorgeous waterfall, bridge, and lush greenery, picturesque Brandywine Manor House wedding venue provided the perfect backdrop for their amazing wedding. Betsy was a radiant bride and the photos of her and Cam perfectly captured just how much love there is between these two. Even Marley, the dog of honor, had a wonderful time. After an especially touching speech from Cam’s Dad, everyone hit the dance floor. And boy do these guys love to dance!
Congratulations to Cam and Betsy and best wishes for a bright and fun filled future!
Colleen and Rob were such a fun couple, even a little rain couldn’t dampen their wedding day. After the ceremony, held at one of the most beautiful churches I’ve ever seen, we headed to the Lancaster train station. This location was a perfect spot for some their wedding photos since the cigar stop and the selfie station at the Booking House were a classy nod to a bygone era. Upon arriving at the Booking House wedding venue, the décor was beautiful and the wedding cake was exquisite. However, the the party really got started when their friends and family took the dance floor by storm.
As a wedding photographer, I am constantly in awe of the beauty and love that surrounds a couple on their special day. But the wedding of Kristi and Heath at the Country Barn in Lancaster, Pennsylvania was truly something special.
From the moment I arrived at the venue, I knew it was going to be a memorable day. The Country Barn is a stunning location, with endless opportunities for breathtaking photos. The rolling hills and fields, the charming farmhouse, and the rustic barn all provided the perfect backdrop for Kristi and Heath’s big day.
But it wasn’t just the setting that made this wedding so beautiful. The bridal party was absolutely gorgeous, with Kristi and her bridesmaids all dressed in elegant gowns and Heath and his groomsmen looking dapper in their suits. It was easy to capture stunning photos of the happy couple and their loved ones, surrounded by the natural beauty of the venue.
As the ceremony began, I couldn’t help but feel moved by the love and emotion that filled the air. Kristi and Heath exchanged heartfelt vows, surrounded by their closest family and friends. It was clear to everyone in attendance that these two were meant to be together, and it was an honor to capture the moment they became husband and wife.
After the ceremony, the celebration continued with a reception that was full of joy and laughter. The barn was beautifully decorated, with twinkling lights and floral arrangements that added to the magic of the evening. As the night went on, I snapped photos of the newlyweds and their guests dancing, toasting, and enjoying every moment of the celebration.
Looking back on the photos from Kristi and Heath’s wedding, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to document such a special day. It was a privilege to be a part of their love story, and to capture the beauty and joy of their grand wedding at the Country Barn.
As I stood at the front of the Inn at Leola, surrounded by lush greenery and the most beautiful venue I’ve ever seen, I knew that Lucia and Dominic’s wedding was going to be something special. The sun was shining, the sky was blue, and the bridal party was absolutely gorgeous. I couldn’t wait to start taking photos.
As the ceremony began, I watched as Lucia walked down the aisle, her face radiant with joy. Dominic stood at the altar, his eyes locked on his bride-to-be, a huge smile on his face. The love between them was palpable, and it was an honor to be there to capture it all.
The ceremony itself was beautiful, with heartfelt vows and a joyful exchange of rings. But it was the way that Lucia and Dominic looked at each other that really made it special. They were so in love, and it was clear to everyone in attendance that they were meant to be together.
After the ceremony, we moved on to the reception, which was held in a beautiful tent on the grounds of the Inn. The décor was stunning, with twinkling lights and a dance floor that was already packed with guests. Lucia and Dominic made their grand entrance, and it was clear that they were the life of the party.
The rest of the evening was a blur of laughter, dancing, and endless photo ops. There was no shortage of stunning backdrops at the Inn, and I had a blast taking candid shots of the couple and their loved ones. From the moment they said “I do” to their grand exit as husband and wife, Lucia and Dominic were the happiest I’ve ever seen them.
As the night came to a close and the guests said their goodbyes, I couldn’t help but feel touched by the love and joy that Lucia and Dominic had shared with me. It was an honor to be a part of their special day, and I will always cherish the memories of this beautiful wedding at the Inn at Leola.
Meg and Sam are both F&M graduates. So, it was entirely appropriate for them to begin their married life at the place where it all began. Such a charming love story was captured on the lovely grounds of F&M College. From the trolley to the Lux et Lex arch, to the iconic F&M hedges, the love these two share was evident to everyone. With beautiful June weather and flowers blooming, friends and family of Meg and Sam celebrated a special day that won’t soon be forgotten. (F&M Chapel Wedding)
