The hidden gem: Moonstone Manor Wedding VenueThere is nothing quite like Lancaster County in July. Moon Stone Manor is already one of my favorite places on in the area to shoot weddings. The beautiful creek that runs thru the property, the large open air tent, gorgeous gardens, and a huge historical mansion that’s perfect for the brides to get ready. You could tell instantly why it was so it was an easy decision for Stephanie and Nate to have their wedding here, and seriously, what better time than July to celebrate the love of your life? Right off the bat, I knew that Stephanie and I were going to get along great. She was so laid back and just warm and you could tell that her family meant everything to her. Adding Nate to her family meant even more. Her first look with her dad was so so sweet. You could tell how proud her dad was the whole day. So much thought went into how the guest would experience her day from every little detail. The weather was absolutely stunning…. A perfect day. Thank you, Stephanie and Nate, for sharing your day with me. Your smiles and happiness are infectious and you are beautiful inside and out. I wish you well on this crazy adventure we call marriage.
Cam and I have been friends for many years. This is why I was honored not only to be a guest at the wedding of Betsy and Cameron, but also to photograph and memorialize their unforgettable day. With its gorgeous waterfall, bridge, and lush greenery, picturesque Brandywine Manor House wedding venue provided the perfect backdrop for their amazing wedding. Betsy was a radiant bride and the photos of her and Cam perfectly captured just how much love there is between these two. Even Marley, the dog of honor, had a wonderful time. After an especially touching speech from Cam’s Dad, everyone hit the dance floor. And boy do these guys love to dance!
Congratulations to Cam and Betsy and best wishes for a bright and fun filled future!
Colleen and Rob were such a fun couple, even a little rain couldn’t dampen their wedding day. After the ceremony, held at one of the most beautiful churches I’ve ever seen, we headed to the Lancaster train station. This location was a perfect spot for some their wedding photos since the cigar stop and the selfie station at the Booking House were a classy nod to a bygone era. Upon arriving at the Booking House wedding venue, the décor was beautiful and the wedding cake was exquisite. However, the the party really got started when their friends and family took the dance floor by storm.
Meg and Sam are both F&M graduates. So, it was entirely appropriate for them to begin their married life at the place where it all began. Such a charming love story was captured on the lovely grounds of F&M College. From the trolley to the Lux et Lex arch, to the iconic F&M hedges, the love these two share was evident to everyone. With beautiful June weather and flowers blooming, friends and family of Meg and Sam celebrated a special day that won’t soon be forgotten. (F&M Chapel Wedding)
For Lisa and Greg, there was no sweeter place on earth to celebrate their love for each other than having a Hershey PA wedding. With the Milton Hershey School providing a charming location for wedding photos, the zest for life these two share is easy to see. Photographing Lisa and Greg was so much fun. Lisa let her playful side show, with her unique and beautiful high heels. For Greg, a highlight of the day was finally being able to touch his father-in-law’s corvette! For such a sweet and entertaining couple, the future certainly holds great things.
Jennifer and James’ wedding brought Larry and I to the breathtaking Lauxmont Farm wedding venue. Even though a little bit of rain made an appearance, it did nothing to dampen the love these two share. With its charming sunken garden, ornate wrought iron gates, and impressive landscaping, this wedding venue was second in beauty only to the bride herself. With the rain passing, I was able to capture gorgeous, sunlit photos that perfectly emulated the love that shone so brightly between Jennifer and James.
